Nokia picks up a Korean 5G order

On April 19th, LG Uplus, the third largest mobile network operator in Korea, reached an agreement with Nokia to adopt Nokia's next-generation indoor 5G network equipment.
LG Uplus will deploy the next-generation small cell AirScale Indoor (ASiR) system from Nokia's comprehensive AirScale portfolio in indoor environments such as shopping malls and office buildings nationwide in Korea. The system consists of Nokia's digital baseband units and ASiR-pRRH solutions (miniature remote radio pulling units) with multi-operator and multi-band support) for new devices to extend 5G coverage.
